Starting Off the New Year White

And Happy New Year to You, my dear readers!

It's funny that the tradition is to go out and get super drunk and toast all the changes and new beginnings the next year will bring as soon as the ball drops.

NYE is like a clean slate. 

Not unlike a snowy covered horizon.

I didn't make a resolution this year. 

I have been striving for health, wealth, and happiness since 2008!

Why should 2013 be any different?

I have my health. I have some wealth. I am quite happy.

Mission accomplished?

No, mission is still in progress.

I feel I'm on the right track to where I want to be.

Before I close this entry, I wanted to share a tradition I have adopted since meeting my husband.

Every NYE at midnight, we each eat 12 grapes, one for each month of the year.

For every grape, we make a wish.

And we don't tell our wishes.
